Rodney A. Logal
September 15, 1940 - July 3, 2016
Co-founder and former Board of Directors Executive Committee President
Rodney A. Logal was a NJCDLP co-founder, Executive Committee board member, and a long time political / legal activist. He was undoubtedly NJCDLP's largest benefactor, even providing the organization office space and facilities at his "Logal Professional and Public Policy Offices", now the Rod Logal Center for Justice.
For over 30 years Mr. Logal petitioned and agitated to encourage a true, two party political system in Lake County, Indiana. He was the plaintiff in cutting edge litigation challenging steel manufacturing powerhouses through a shareholder's derivative action. He took on powerful interests in the name of justice many times.
The experiences left him with an unshakeable conviction that America's legal and judicial system have gone astray. Yet he advocated to help restore true liberty in this country with the spirit in which he defended it during the Vietnam War.

Dr. Andrew D. Jackson

Dr. Andrew D. Jackson is a founding director as well as Executive Committee Member, and NJCDLP's Deputy Director. He is also a Co-Administrator of NFOJA, OAK, and POPULAR.
Dr. Jackson has a Master's in History and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in addition to his dual, Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in History with the other in Philosophy. He has been involved in legal reform since 1997.
Prior to his work in legal reform, Dr. Jackson traveled to "far places", interviewing historical figures, doing research, consulting, and otherwise. After graduating law school, Andrew practiced both civil and criminal law, served as a city Public Defender, and is no stranger to the many kinds of complaints emanating from the legal / judicial reform community.
Sarah Roche

After receiving her Bachelors’ Degree in Biology with emphasis on Pharmaceutical research from Indiana University (IU), Sarah Roche went on to work as manager of a medical clinic for two years before continuing her education at University of Cincinnati. While studying for her Engineering Degree, which she received in 2000, Sarah worked as junior scientist to Dr Tony McGoron in Hematology/Oncology researching new methods of averting the negative effects of cancer cells and developing the precursor to the process of freeze-drying platelets for long term storage, which was published in the American Journal of Clinical Pathology.
Sarah has been involved in all aspects of Phase I through IV pharmaceutical research: instituting new screening processes and procedures for Neuro-Science; maintaining and monitoring study protocols and activities; insuring that FDA regulations as well as private pharmaceutical requirements are met in a timely efficient manner.
Theatre was Sarah’s Minor at IU, with emphasis on Creative Writing. She produced, directed, built stages and acted in theatre at Indiana University and on PBS local television in Gary, Indiana. She won awards for Best Technical Stage Design and Costume Design for The Oz; Special Effects, Prop Construction, Sound and Lighting for Aida; Makeup, Technical editing, Stage design, Costume design for Dream Girls. She is an Honorary member of the Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Society.
Sarah taught Creative writing for displaced teens at Chicago’s Alternative Schools, 1987-1990, effectively helping a quarter of the drop out population to receive their GEDs. In the late 80’s and early 90’s WAIF88.3 FM radio played a series of African Historical segments written by Sarah. During that time, Sarah also played in the first violen line-up with Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra.
Eugenia V. Colón, CFRE is Founder and President of Colón & Associates, LLC, Fundraising and Development Consultants with extensive, wide-ranging experience in the areas of fundraising and communications. She is personally and professionally committed to ensuring human and civil rights nationally and internationally, and to providing educational opportunity for minority and disadvantaged populations.
Over the course of more than 24 years as a professional fundraiser, Ms. Colón has obtained record-level annual and multi-year major gifts ranging from $250,000 to $16,000,000. She was instrumental in design, development, and implementation of the historic $1 billion Gates Millennium Scholars Program which sheI also named.
Ms. Colón has worked closely with heads of state, corporate executives, nonprofit leaders, public officials, and foreign dignitaries. The professional relationships she has established have evolved into strong, enduring friendships.
As part of her work, Ms. Colón has directed and managed all aspects of multi-million dollar campaigns which included managing area offices nationwide, corporate and foundation major gift solicitations, strategic planning, financial management, policy formulation, stewardship, and program development and design. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the E-Philanthropy Foundation, The Resource Alliance, the American Marketing Association, the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, and the Fortune Business Leaders Council.
Ms. Colón's specialties are strategic, innovative, entrepreneurial approach combined with superior writing skills and extensive experience in program design. These skills have been integral to her exceptional record of achievement in major gifts fundraising, prospect cultivation, solicitation, and donor relations. Above all, her personal dedication and commitment are primary components of every endeavor.
Stephen Louis Krasner's professional qualifications include an M.S. degree in Nonprofit Management, solid hands-on experience as a manager and public service professional. He excels at directing and motivating groups, developing and implementing fundraising efforts and strategic plans, community-based needs assessment, project design and implementation, and program assessment. He is adept at coordinating multiple parties to achieve large-scale goals, and has a strong history of identifying and successfully collaborating with local resources to optimize project sustainability. Stephen's background in the legal industry, negotiating and developing large scale private sector initiatives, conducting capital investment presentations, effectively managing information, and supervising support personnel has consistently proven instrumental in his ability to motivate top-performing teams. Additionally, he is fluent in Spanish and has savvy technological skills.
Attorney Bryan Bullock* began his law career in the not-for-profit sector working for Indiana Legal Services in 2001. He represented low-income clients in eviction actions, dissolutions, custody battles, unemployment compensation hearings, social security hearings and other civil proceedings. In 2004, attorney Bullock entered private practice and continues as a solo practitioner providing representation in the following areas: employment discrimination, Worker’s Compensation, Bankruptcy, misdemeanors, personal injury, guardianships, social security hearings, and other civil and criminal matters.
In 2006, Bullock became Habeas Counsel in the Guantanamo Bay detainee litigation. He represented several clients who were being wrongfully detained. Bullock was just one of just a few African-American lawyers to represent a prisoner being held in the infamous Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, detention center.
Bullock was recipient of the Frederick Douglass Human Rights Award presented by the Southern Center for Human Rights, 2007. That year he was also honored as Alumni of the Year, Valparaiso University School of Law. He has taught at Indiana University Northwest – Race and Law. Ivy Tech State College – Business Law, Human Resource Management, Introduction to Paralegal Studies and Legal Research and Writing and Calumet College of St. Josephs- Law for Management. Bullock is a popular public speaker.

Gordon L. Wiborg, Jr.

Mr. Wiborg earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (cum laude) with concentrations in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Military History, and Public Administration. He has also earned FBI certification through the Executive Command College and LEEDA, and is POST-certified as a Police Officer in three states. He is SRT certified through the FBI, and has served as a SWAT Consortium Commander in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and Palm Beach County, Florida. He is a NIMS / ICS Battle Captain, and certified Antiterrorism Officer (Advanced). Mr. Wiborg is a certified Critical Incident Stress Peer Counselor, and for several years served as President of the Minneapolis – St. Paul Metro Area Critical Incident Management Team. He coached community and high school wrestling teams for 25 years, and was the Coach selected for the first United States Sports Team to conduct an official visit to post-apartheid South Africa. He also served as President of Minnesota State Wrestling for several years.
Zena Crenshaw-Logal

Zena Crenshaw-Logal is a founding director as well as Executive Committee board member, and NJCDLP's Executive Director. She is one of NFOJA's (National Forum On Judicial Accountability), OAK's (Organizations Associating for the Kind of Change America Really Needs), and POPULAR's (Power Over Poverty Under Laws of America Restored) Co-Administrators.
Mrs. Crenshaw-Logal has authored multiple online and print articles on grassroots advocacy, First Amendment issues, democracy, and the administration of justice in America. She is author of “The Official End of Judicial Accountability Through Federal Rights Litigation: Ashcroft v. Iqbal”, 35 Am. J. Trial Advoc. 125 (Summer 2011), and Exploring the Vitality of Stare Decisis in America. Boca Raton: Universal Publishers, 2012. Zena is a national spokesperson on tactics thwarting proper standards for regulating First Amendment activities among lawyers when their criticism of the judiciary or a judicial officer is involved.
Prior to working full time as a legal reform activist beginning in 1998, Mrs. Crenshaw-Logal engaged in a general, civil law practice which primarily consisted of her prosecuting complex, personal injury claims, and advising small to medium, for profit as well as nonprofit entities. She entered the University of Notre Dame at Notre Dame, Indiana in 1977, distinguished as a National Merit, Notre Dame, and Indiana State Scholar. Zena graduated from the university in 1981 with a dual major in English and Philosophy. She subsequently entered and graduated in 1984 from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, distinguished as an Earl Warren Scholar. A summer session of her legal education was completed at the Notre Dame Law Centre in London, England.
Dr. Sandra Nunn, DM, MBA, BS

Dr. Sandra Nunn serves as the CFO, board member, and National Security Specialist for NJCDLP. As a well-rounded executive with 31 years combined experience in private industry, government, and diplomacy, Dr. Nunn possesses a wealth of knowledge in organizational leadership, global management, project management, and business development in multicultural environments. During her career, she has served as a business executive, project manager, engineer, MBA, diplomat, entrepreneur, federal agent, international investigator, goodwill ambassador, and humanitarian. Her most noteworthy experiences include service on two diplomatic tours on behalf of the U.S. Government to Eastern and Western Europe during the UN Sanctions against Serbia in 1994-1995.
Dr. Nunn also served as a highly-decorated federal agent with the U.S. Customs Service where she enforced federal laws regarding money laundering, narcotics smuggling, and arms smuggling. Her investigations have been featured in TIME and Businessweek as well as other national media. Because of her extensive experience in different disciplines, Sandy possesses unique skills and qualifications as a leader, visionary, problem-solver, and communicator to achieve results. Her exemplary work has earned her more than 26 awards from the FBI, the U.S. Customs Service, the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Organizational for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), foreign governments, and private organizations. She has appeared extensively in the national and international media, testified before the U.S. Senate, and was also featured as a guest speaker at prestigious Smith College. In addition, she previously served on the Board of Directors for an international public company as well as an international nonprofit organization.
Currently, Dr. Nunn serves as an executive with two consulting firms. She also holds executive and board member positions with several non-profit organizations. In addition, Dr. Nunn serves as a Research Affiliate with the Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research at University of Phoenix and was just recently invited to serve as a Research Fellow for the university. Further, she is an Editor and Reviewer for the Cogent Business & Management journal published in the UK by Taylor & Francis. She is also the Guest Editor for a special Symposium for the Journal of Leadership Studies published in the US by Wiley. Dr. Nunn’s work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals published by Wiley as well as a scholarly book by Springer and a scholarly book by Routledge.
Dr. Nunn holds two graduate degrees: a Doctor of Management (DM) in Organizational Leadership and an MBA in Global Management, where she graduated with highest honors. She also holds a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology and an AA in General Studies. For her outstanding work and contributions, Sandy was accorded lifetime membership in Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business as well as the International Women’s Leadership Association. She was also bestowed the honor of being a Kentucky Colonel with The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels by the Governor of Kentucky for her dedication to public service. Currently, Dr. Nunn is working on several scholarly publishing projects and also intends to publish a book regarding her work during the international UN sanctions in the Balkans. Through her collaborative efforts, Sandy also intends to establish a humanitarian foundation to commence work on more than 200 humanitarian and green energy projects in the international community in the future.
Dr. Mandal's training as both a clinician and lawyer allows her to weigh mitigating factors against aggravating factors in criminal law and capital defense, and to make direct opinions and recommendations to judges. She provides written, oral advocacy, and expert testimony when necessary. She is able to coordinate a comprehensive mitigation presentation in front of death penalty juries.
Her work leads Dr. Mandal to travel nationally and internationally. She has state and federal death penalty experience in NY, NJ, CT, PA, NC, SC, GA, FL, LA, & PR. Her partnerships are now expanding globally to India, Bangladesh, and Singapore markets.
To date, Dr. Mandal has mitigated over 1,000 felony criminal matters including capital defense, post-conviction capital habeas, non-capital homicide cases, federal and state drug felony charges, sex offenses, and other types of felonies including white collar crimes. She also has years of experience in immigration defense, and matters related to family law, medical malpractice cases, and international personal injuries. Her direct experience mitigation assessments help mount the best defense in practically every area of law that relies on proving hardship.
Dr. Mandal's diverse education includes attending Harvard Medical School post-graduate, 2014-2015 Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma; attaining her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2003 from Rutgers University School of Law - Newark; Dr. Mandal received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College in 1999; and her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Drew University.

Presently Dr. Mandal is a contributing writer at OMTimes Media, conducts a Trial Mitigation, Criminal Defense Practice with the Brooklyn Defender Services in Brooklyn, NY and is a Forensic Freelancer. She is the only Bengali speaking clinical social worker with vast experience in forensic and sentence mitigation in America.
Dr. Langan received his Medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1993, and he did his residency at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in Portland Oregon. After completing his fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Langan did a yearlong fellowship at Mass. General Hospital. He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1996 and Geriatric Medicine in 1998 at which time he began working as a Primary Care Physician at MGH Senior Health.
He worked as a Staff Physician at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital from 1996 to 2007 where he taught and mentored medical students and residents on the neurology, orthopedic, and transitional care units. He was on staff at Eastpointe and Lighthouse Skilled nursing facilities.
Geriatric pharmacology, medication review, the prevention of adverse drug events, dementia, and computerized medical records are among Dr. Langan’s primary research interests. He received the Edward Henderson Student Award from the American Geriatrics Society and has been awarded the Department of Health and Human Services' Certificate of Merit for Innovations in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
Dr. Langan began to explore the ethical and managerial issues tied to state physician health programs (PHPs) after his personal involvement with a program prompted him to sue and allege related negligence, fraud, deceit, defamation, and other violations of law. The experience brought Dr. Langan to the forefront of the "Physician Wellness Movement" and his call for revolt and reconstruction in response to illegitimate authority. He recently queried in response to news of a class action against a Michigan PHP alleging constitutional rights violations and involuntary treatment, "What is the difference between what these people are doing and Dr. Farid Fata, the Michigan oncologist who was just sentenced to 45 years in prison for intentionally misdiagnosing patients who did not have cancer with cancer in order to give unneeded treatment to make a buck? Simple answer. Very little difference."
Dr. Yolanda Whyte, is an Atlanta-based pediatrician with 13 years of experience caring for the medical needs of children in hospital, clinic, military, Indian Health, telemedicine, international and home-based settings. To address the rising trajectory of chronic diseases in children, she expanded the scope of her practice to include environmental health and advocacy where she engages with government agencies, politicians, other policymakers and medical associations to strengthen public health policies and practice guidelines so that decisions are based on research, evidence, facts and common sense.
Dr. Whyte communicates the health impacts of pollution to healthcare and other professionals, community groups, schools, colleges, legislators, locally and throughout the country. Her areas of expertise include air and water pollution, climate change, coal ash, fracking, chemical policy and food quality, with an emphasis on health disparities, environmental justice and enforcement of human rights.
Dr. Yolanda Whyte received her B.S. degree in Biology from Howard University and her MD degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. Following her pediatric internship at Medical College of Virginia, she completed her residency at the nation’s first community-based pediatrics program at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she was appointed Resident Representative, elected Pediatric Chair by the Morehouse Resident Association and received the Outstanding Service Award. Her other awards include the EPA Children’s Environmental Health Hero Award and the White House Champion of Change for Climate Change Award.
As a medical whistleblower, Dr. Whyte went on record reporting human rights abuses, patient safety violations and sham peer review in medical training programs funded and supported by Health and Human Services.
Dr. Whyte’s background includes medical missions to Haiti, Jamaica, Vietnam, Ghana, and Guyana.
